soundofwonderI don't write fics but seeing how some official art/fanarts depict lan wang ji having bloodied fingers during the sunshot campaign made me think of a head canon where he ends up having nerve damage in his fingers from the battle but seeing how he is, doesn't tell anyone.
The only one who slowly realizes is wei wu xian (after the ending) when he notices that lan wang ji's fingers trembling for no reason, or that his hands flinches sometimes due to sudden pain. Of course at first he thinks LWJ was just reacting to his antics, but eventually he realizes this goes deeper than he thought.
This has been in my head for weeks now, ugh.
MXTX really here making me root for het relationships for the first time in years AND making me want to write fics...
