Translation problems

soundofwonderOne of those days where the languages in my head don't connect and most of the time is spent trying to find the equivalent word by word.
I noticed that even if it's just a day or two, not using one language makes my fluency in that language go down, which makes translating even harder. Which is surprising since I learned both languages together as a kid. Guess language foundations can just erode in a day or two then.
I should set up some short daily language practice so I don't end up not being able to relate one language to another.
