a kid with unexpected tastes

soundofwonderIt's expected that a 4 year old kid should like to, or at the very least, be willing to eat ketchup, mayonnaise and other sauces along those lines, right?
Not my niece. She prefer eating plain fries. Even cheese fries are a no for her. She doesn't want anything that has gravy and refuses to eat rice with gravy(usually mixed to soften the rice and make it more appealing for kids).
Today she just rejected baked beans. What sort of kid doesn't want baked beans?!
Also, she's a huge vegetable eater - as long as it's steamed. Basically her tastes are rather light and unusual for a SE Asia kid...
